Airport pickup sign on your phone
No paper, no marker. Type the name, hold up your phone, and the name fills the whole screen in letters people can read from across the arrivals hall.

What to put on the sign
- Last name only for family and friends. It's shorter, so the letters get bigger.
- Company name, then the person's name for business travelers. Press Enter between them to put them on two lines.
- Something they'll recognize instantly, like a nickname or an inside joke, if you're picking up someone you know well.
Tips for being spotted fast
- Turn your phone sideways. A wider screen means bigger letters.
- Use the yellow Highlighter colors. Bright yellow stands out from the white and black signs most drivers carry.
- Turn your brightness all the way up before you show it full screen. Arrivals halls are bright.
- Hold it at chest height or above, near the front of the crowd, facing the exit doors.
- Send them the link. Tap Copy link and text it to the person you're meeting so they know exactly what to look for.
- Charge your phone beforehand. Flights run late, and a bright full-screen display uses battery.
Questions
Will my screen turn off while I wait?
While your sign is showing, the site asks your phone to keep the screen awake. If your phone doesn't support that, tap the screen now and then to keep it on.
Does it work without an app?
Yes. It runs in your phone's browser. You can add it to your home screen from your browser's share menu so it's one tap away next time.
