About Type It Big
Type It Big is a set of free tools that put words and numbers on a screen as big as they can go. Open one, type, and show it to the room.
What's here
- Sign maker: any message in giant letters, with colors, fonts, scrolling and flashing.
- Big clock and timer: a giant clock, countdown timer and stopwatch.
- Scoreboard: two teams, tap to score, numbers you can read from the back row.
- Teleprompter: paste a script and read it as it scrolls.
Why we made it
A lot of everyday moments need something big on a screen: a name at the airport arrivals gate, the time left on a test, the score of a backyard game, a message across a loud room. The tools for this were scattered across apps that want an account, an install or a subscription. We wanted one fast place that just works in any browser.
How we run it
- Free, no account. Every tool works the moment the page loads.
- Your words stay with you. What you type is saved in your own browser, not on our servers. Our privacy policy has the details.
- Ads stay out of the way. The site is paid for with ads, but they never appear on the full-screen display.
Who we are
Type It Big is made by Fine Enough Studios, two independent developers who build small, useful things for the web that are fine enough. We read every message, so if something breaks or you have an idea for a new tool, tell us.
